Patrick Ong, on his first outing with the GTX8 finished 2nd in qualifying, with Joe Hwee taking TQ honours, with Kenji qualifying 3rd.
In the 40min finals, Patrick was on course to a win with a 1-lap lead. However, an unexpected problem with a servo horn coming loose 3-mins before the ended, resulted in an early retirement. Not withstanding this, Patrick would still end up 3rd, with Joe and Trin (Mugen) finishing 1st and 2nd respectively.
